I just installed 2008.11 and during installation wasn't able to find any way to configure or divide how the solaris partition was used.
After booting I see that it installs to zfs by default. What I'm wondering about is if I can create a pool in my zfs filesystem and then tell grub to boot from that. The purpose of this is to have a separate filesystem (on the same hard drive -if that matters) that I can do a BFU to and then boot from to test out (while preserving my primary installation).
