Hiracio, While there are packaging tools included with Solaris, there is no package repository system included. As for patches, there is an application called update manager, which should keep you up to date.
As for a bundled MTA, Solaris includes sendmail. This said, there is an option for a third party repository system that has most of the common packages that people are familiar with.
