I have got a storage enclosure 4314R and a scsi card to use it with. the card is a lsi 22320-s which i think is causing the problems, the box can't boot with any disks attached to this card.
I get an mmu error then a trap 3e. I think its the card as i put a currently working array onto the card and got the same problem. Tempt of the opensolaris irc said I had to upgrade the firmware and disable fcode on the card. This is where my knowledge runs out :( The lsi 22320-s is using the drivers which come with solaris not the itmpt so i can't use lsiutil on it. So any suggestions on how to get the card to use the itmpt driver and an idiot guide to flashing lsi cards? This message posted from opensolaris.org
