Also you need two drives to do any RAID 0 functionality. Lots Of BIOS:es Defaults to RAID set to On. The VIA RAID stuff is real RAID 0 or 1 and not as cheap as the Nvidia Nforce RAID , which need O/S ( er.. Windows ) assisting drivers to work.
The Solaris Installer have never worked well if at all with these RAID options intended for Windows XP. And with ZFS you dont even want them around. //Lars This message posted from opensolaris.org
