Helo 4 all,

I am new into opensolaris and getting a little problem puting my network
cards to work.

I have a HP dv2840se laptop with a nvidia nforce MCP67 chipset, that is not
suported out-of-box and also having problem with my broadcom wifi card so no
network at all at this time.

following the workaround in this page:

http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6775313

i manage to get the network card to be correctly recognized in the drivers
list, but is messed with keyboard, sdcard reader and some other stuf making
my system unusable and hanging when i try to boot after the changes.

I was doing some research and could not find a way to run the update_drv
just for the network card, can any one help me with that?

i undestant that there is some third-part driver for nvidia network cards,
but i would like to try the standard driver first.

I am not sure on what info i would need to send (if i need to send any), so
let me know if i am missing something.

Thanks to all,

Best Regards,
gs84
