I'm currently having the same problem. I managed to run image-update on 1st which failed because some things needed fixing. But now I can't get anything from pkg.opensolaris.org and it's been that way for two days. For example:
Repairing: pkg:/SUNWckr DOWNLOAD PKGS FILES XFER (MB) SUNWckr 0/1 1/199 0.01/6.86 pkg: Maximum number of network retries exceeded during download. Details follow: Transfer from 'http://pkg.opensolaris.org/release' failed: Read error on tar str eam. (happened 4 times) It doesn't matter what I set the timeouts to. I don't think it's network related. Can't seem to do anything now and there doesn't seem to be a way to download the packages to install locally (I can't believe IPS doesn't let you do this?). -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
