No i verified the checksum for this iso built of sxce b112, it's correct. I found no solution for this problem and also have installation problems with solaris 10 05/09. "/sbin/install-begin: cannot shift" is the error i get after i selected keyboard layout and speech. this is nearly equal because the error occurs also on start of the main installation process.
Solaris seems to have trouble with my motherboard (Gigabyte P45-DS3L not in HCL). I have no other solution.I changed DVD ROM and tested the installation without system hdd and without all hdd. I also got no error messages while discovering the system, so there shouldn't be trouble with the NIC. Could it be a problem with the grafic card?
