Another noob question, but here it goes...
what type of Java Develpoment Kit do i actually install in OpenSolaris 2009, so
that i could write small simple Java programs? The thing is that i need to
install JDK and NetBeans on my new openSolaris system, but I have NO internet
connection available. Is it possible to install all this from packages
downloaded elsewhere? I downloaded all there is, but still unsure how to
perform this. Is solaris code compatible with openSolaris? On openJDK
website there is only a reference to adding version 7 to online repos, and some
(for me) code to install it manually. But there are so many SUNWsomething
packages and i don`t know where to find them?
