I assume that you mean 1/8. I am having the same problem. I have two different
machines that I am trying to do install snv_79a under Parallels Workstation for
Windows Version 2.2 Build 2204(9/18/2007). I am having the exact same problem.
The parrallels instance is consuming 25 to 35% of the cpu and the / is rotating
and has been for over an hour but the file system appears to be stuck at 4,064
KB and has not grown at all. Hopefully someone may have an idea out there!
