Hi Jad! Few days ago you give me some indication to start Gnome on my latop
(Amd64) running Solaris Express dev Edition.

> "if it doesn't have a fixed IP or if all else fails make sure that the

127.0.0.1 localhost mylappy mylappy.mydom.com"

The name of my host is "solaris" But I don't know which configuration file I
should check to fix the name of my host!

In the output of the command "dmesg" , I can see that indeed there are error
messages with host name and/or domain name: For e.g.

"Sendmail....: My UNQUALIFIED HOST NAME (solaris); SLEEPING FOR RETRY;
....................

Send mail...: UNABLE TO QUALIFY MY OWN DOMAIN NAME (solaris)--USING SHORT NAME".

Where are "system" configuration filed in open Solaris?

Thank you so much!
