[osol-help] cde-login cannot start - Solaris Express Developer Edition b79b

Do you  have a VGA  screen   attached to the  4200 or are you  using the  ILOM  
 ? 

   Usually if dtlogin does not start its because something is wrong with   the 
   Xwindows  config or it fails to detect  the VGA  card.
