I am looking to build a new machine and I was thinking of using opensolaris. I am wanting to use the Intel Q9300 but I am having a hard time finding out what motherboards are supported by opensolaris.
I was looking at the Asus P5E-VM HDMI because it has gigabit lan, 6 SATA, HDMI+VGA and some expandability. I have looked at the HCL but that doesn't seem to have much data or solaris doesn't support very much. I have seen one report making me think this motherboard won't work but would like to hear otherwise, does any have any motherboard recommendations? This message posted from opensolaris.org
