I couldn't believe my eyes, so I tried on a different box on a different network with a different ISP. Confirmed: At 512 kB exactly, I get Information:Thu Jun 05 09:56:50 MYT 2008:Creating destination file /.../sol-nv-b90-x86-dvd.iso ERROR:Thu Jun 05 09:56:56 MYT 2008:Invalid size of data (524288; expected 524288) downloaded to the destination file sol-nv-b90-x86-dvd.iso Information:Thu Jun 05 09:56:56 MYT 2008:Disconnecting via http from server cds-esd.sun.com ERROR:Thu Jun 05 09:56:56 MYT 2008:Unable to complete downloading of data from server cds-esd.sun.com to file sol-nv-b90-x86-dvd.iso on both sites. It simply stops, doesn't allow any resume, and the second trial goes identically wrong.
The silly fire-and-forget approach of downloading the iso in the browser is okay so far. If the hash is correct, I can only tell you over 20 hours. Uwe This message posted from opensolaris.org
