You can just use the livecd, import the rpool and do the steps below (remember 
NOT to export the rpool afterwards),
so it should be something like:
# mkdir /tmp/my_rpool
# zpool import -R /tmp/my_rpool -f rpool 
$ pfexec mount -F zfs rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 /mnt
$ pfexec /mnt/boot/solaris/bin/update_grub -R /mnt
