so: 1. you created BE slices successfully , it appears on c1d0 you can use format-->partition-->print to see the slices, I would suggest carefully reading the options and quit without changing anything 2. next, you need to mount your sxce_b91 image if you have an iso. use lofiadm -a /path/to/the/iso/image/sol-nv-b91-x86-dvd.iso /dev/lofi/1 mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/lofi/1 /mnt/point/you/have/available you have created a block divice link for your image and mounted it on the filesystem as hsfs 3. next: do the actual upgrade luupgrade -u -n nv91 -s /mnt/point/you/have/available/ 4. finally, activiate the new BE luactivate nv91 the above assumes you are working off of ufs slices. hoep I havent forgotten anything, the man pages are actually pretty good man live_upgrade gl.
