Sorry - I forgot to mention - you need to remove the EFI label using the Solaris tools, i.e. Format -> fdisk.
Then use them to create your FDISK partitions and slices (which as you will have discovered the Solaris tools very helpfully call partitions, to add to the confusion)! ;-) Cheers Andrew. This message posted from opensolaris.org
