Hi All, Sorry for the very simple question, but i'm running opensolaris 2008.5, and not sure how to set the default umask for scp uploads. I've tried changing this setting in /etc/profile, /etc/defaults/login, and in individual users' .bashrc and .profile.
The umask is getting applied when users ssh in and create directories and files, but for some reason SCP/SFTP ignores it. Is this even possible? Is there something i'm missing? This message posted from opensolaris.org
