Hello everyone, this is my first attempt at installing opensolairs 2008.05. the problem that i am experiencing as the moment is:
i get to the logon window and once i type in my name and password i then click on OK, and the screen changes into the next stage of logging me into gnome, but at the same time my screen resolution goes crazy.. crazy meaning a whole bunch of boxes every where to where i can no longer navigate or see anything resembling a desktop. what i am thinking and hope someone can help me is to change the resolution via GRUB. i have tried all different options to logon to the gnome desktop: 1. default 2. script 3. safe gnome 4. safe terminal but all options lead me into the same issue. thx in advance!
