That's why I asked Timothy to see if there were any error messages coming out of acpica. Am I sure that the bug is in the driver? Not yet. It's looking likely that there is a bug somewhere in Solaris, but it's not clear to me that it's in the cpudrv driver. It could be. Or it could be in acpica. Or it could be in the mapping code. It's going to be hard to figure out unless Tim is willing to be a guinea pig.
