After some minor difficulties with lucreate related to SVM, I managed to create
a new BE for snv_70b.
But then the upgrade fails, leaving some hundred pkgs uninstalled. These are
all l10n packages.
I tried to install these manually:

root at e4500:data# awk -F= '$1=="PKG" {print $2}' packages_to_be_added
>~/packages
root at e4500:~# export LC_ALL=C
root at e4500:~# luupgrade -p -n 5.11_70b -s /cdrom/Solaris_11/Product $(cat
packages)

Validating the contents of the media </cdrom/Solaris_11/Product>.
ERROR: The media </cdrom/Solaris_11/Product> does not contain these requested
packages: <SUNWvwbcp SUNWvbcp SUNWudct SUNWthunderbirdl10n-zh-TW SUNW....

The DVD is documented to be multi-language, but it looks like it is not, right?!
Before this I did:

root at e4500:~# mount -o ro -F hsfs /dev/lofi/1 /cdrom
root at e4500:~# export LC_ALL=C
root at e4500:~# luupgrade -u -n 5.11_70b -s /cdrom

WARNING: <525> additional packages must be installed on boot environment
<5.11_70b>.
INFORMATION: The file </var/sadm/system/data/packages_to_be_added> on boot
environment <5.11_70b> contains a list of packages that must be installed
on the boot environment for the upgrade to be complete. The packages in
this list were not present on the media that was used to upgrade this boot
environment.
INFORMATION: If the boot environment was upgraded using one media of a
multiple media distribution, for example the Solaris CD media, you must
continue the upgrade process with the next media. Complete the upgrade by
using the luupgrade <-i> option to install the next media of the
distribution. Failure to complete the upgrade process with all media of
the software distribution makes the boot environment unstable.
INFORMATION: Review the files listed above. Remember that all of the files
are located on boot environment <5.11_70b>. Before you activate boot
environment <5.11_70b>, determine if any additional system maintenance is
required or if additional media of the software distribution must be
installed.
The Solaris upgrade of the boot environment <5.11_70b> failed.

Any hints are welcome.
Thx in advance, Paul
