I installed a recent version of Open Solaris but I cannot get the NVIDIA drivers to work. I want to remove the pool associated with the installation. I was able to remove some of the pool. zfs list shows: NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT rpool 22.7G 2.66G 58.5K /rpool rpool at install 19K - 55.5K - rpool/ROOT 6.51G 2.66G 18K /rpool/ROOT rpool/ROOT at install 15K - 18K - rpool/ROOT/opensolaris 1013M 2.66G 4.11G legacy rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 5.52G 2.66G 3.63G /tmp/tmpelfMp0 rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 at static:-:2008-11-22-12:25:21 1.88G - 3.28G - rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1/opt 3.82M 2.66G 3.60M /tmp/tmpelfMp0/opt rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1/opt at static:-:2008-11-20-23:55:11 0 - 3.60M - rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1/opt at static:-:2008-11-21-01:43:22 0 - 3.60M - rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1/opt at static:-:2008-11-22-12:25:21 0 - 3.60M - rpool/export 16.2G 2.66G 19K /export rpool/export at install 15K - 19K - rpool/export/home 16.2G 2.66G 16.2G /export/home rpool/export/home at install 20K - 21K -
The results I get when trying to remove the rest of the pool are: -bash-3.2# zfs destroy -R rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 cannot unmount '/': Device busy I want to remove all pools that are part of a non-working installation. I am currently booting snv_86 and I am not very knowledgeable of Open Solaris. Thanks WOR -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
