VirtualBox (NOT "Virtual Box") and the requisite kernel module are provided in the extras repository, which, because of the licensing requirement, needs an SDN certificate and key before you can access it: https://pkg.sun.com/register/ I have heard that incorrect kernel module might have been installed if you use IPS; thus, at the present time, you probably should use the conventional pkgadd method. To run 64-bit Vista guest on OpenSolaris, you must make sure that your hardware is compatible, as the VirtualBox uses hardware emulation for 64-bit guests (as opposed to software emulation for 32-bit guests). -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
