latest 2008.11 modified /etc/driver_aliases to include [radeon "pci1002,4c57"]
after running: pfexec update_drv -v radeon this is the output: radeon.conf updated in the kernel. [b]devfsadm: driver failed to attach: radeon[/b] exit status = 1 Warning: Driver (radeon) successfully added to system but failed to attach The questions are: How do i enable DRI for radeon mobility 7500 ? Is it at all possible ? Does the current radeon module include support only for 5653 devices ? the M7 LW ATI chip is rather very old and it is fully supported by radeon module under linux/bsd and alike, this little "no dri" issue is the only thing that prevents me from switching to opensolaris fulltime as my main OS for everything.... Any help would be appreciated, any comments / ideas / places to start digging.
