Ok sorry if I'm gonna be rude but I'm really really pissed off. This is exactly my problem with opensolaris. Ok I agree. Terminal is GREAT. For zfs pools and all the other complicated stuff.
But for F%$# sake, a gui way to put a static ip, default gateway, dns etc would save a lot of people a lot of trouble. My problem is that when I go to the properties for my network connection and uncheck the Configure automatically box, I answer YES I WANT TO MANUALLY CONFIGURE MY INTERFACE and press ok, and after 2 seconds nwam [or whatever the damned service name is] reenables itself... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
