Hello, I have ask this questions before but nobody has given me an answer so I am hoping this time I get one I am getting very frustrated I like the OS but I have been considering switching to BSD or Linux.
Anyway I have a print server which I used for remote printing for the Windows machines and I have a couple of Linux boxes that I am able to print remotely. The print server is a Airlink it has a static IP when I set the printer I set it up as LPD and remote LPD but in both instances it will not work but in my Linux boxes the same setup works. When I used the Opensolaris 2008 Printer Manager I set it up as network printer with the correct printer model but it gives me only one driver. when setup is finished it will not work no error message nothing also the option for checking remote printers does not work.
