I didn't resolve my problems! I can't shutdown my laptop, and it can't connect to internet (I linked the internet cable, and it saw the rooter net, but it didn't connect).
Before openSolaris I try to install Linux OS (Ubuntu 8.10 & 8.04, Fedora 10, OpenSuSE 11.0 and gOS) but I can't. For play the liveCD or install the OS I must set ACPI=off and noapic (with the related problems). I try to upgrade BIOS, but I can't because I didn't find a new BIOS for my laptop (phoenixBIOS, version: 1.12, ec version: 1.11). What's the problem?? Why I can't shutdown my laptop?
