Been Googleing yesterday about zfs raidz expansion. You know, when you have 4 disks in a raidz1 pool and want to add one more disk and have your pool expand to include that disk? (Like some hardware raid cards and drobo-like boxes do)
All the threads on that where dated late 2007 and people were saying that it's a feature that might be possibly comeing our way together with the shrink capability (the oposite of the above) Does anyone know of any news on that? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
