Hi all, I have a HP DL320s with a HP P800 SCSI card that I am attemting to move from Solaris 10 to OS 2008.11.
I have created an install CD with the CPQary3 driver inside and this works fine on a DL360 G5. However on my DL320s the CD stops at the solaris copyright logo after the grub "....." have disappeared. When I installed SOlaris I had a few issues with the CD drive being on the USB, but I have tried OpenSolaris with the USB CD and also by attaching a PATA CDROM drive to the motherboard. I have tried adding -B acpi-user-options=0x8 (and 4 and 2) to the kernel paramters but this does not help. I am stuck as to how to make any further progress on this. and am looking for some help/advice. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
