Hi Christian, I don't think it has anything to do with the hard drive. If you're using the latest OpenSolaris CD, it should be a live CD so it shouldn't matter what is on the hard drive, you should be getting a boot up. Because of the missing file error, it sounds to me like you might have a bad CD or DVD. Have you tried reburning the disc? Regards, Greg
