Thank you jekeil. I shall give it a try. It still sounds as if there is some
additional troubleshooting required... I am not very good at this. I just
want an operating system that just plain works. I bought this laptop with
factory-loaded Vista; nothing works. I cannot even run most of MS
applications. Windows 7, as I gather form people that run the beta version, is
just as bad. Is there anybody on this planet, that can come up with a workable
operating system? Come on, this is a 21st century!
