I haven't been having much luck building OpenSolaris... I thought I would throw out the basics of my environment and see if anyone might see something wrong.
Ultra20 - x64 2.5 GB RAM SunOS - 5.11 snv_101a 1. Download the mercurial src via [i]hg clone ssh...[/i] 2. Download the lates "closed bins" [i]via wget http://dlc.sun.com/osol/on/downloads/nightly-bins/on-clo[/i] 3. Download the current SUNWonbld-DATE.PLATFORM.tar.bz 4. Set up the environment variables to the compiler (which is SUNWspro12) and SUNWonbld 5. Edit the opensolaris.sh file appropriately. 6. nightly opensolaris.sh & Approximatley 7+ hours later the build fails and I have a 35+ MB log file with all kinds of errors. :( An email says the build failed. The log file says it completed but with errors. It's kind of confusing. It's hard to tell whats going on. I would appreciate any tips and advice. Thanks. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
