Hi. I was successfully able to connect to the internet using my Reliance USB modem - MG880. I followed the steps given in the post (http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=83936)
It connects. But the issue is that, moment i open my firefox and type google.com (or any site for that matter), the modem/net connection hangs (the ip is still assigned - but i cant access the internet nor can i ping any machine :( ) But if I reconnect and try to ping google.com, it keeps pinging and does not disconnect from the internet!!
