I am trying to jumpstart Solaris 10 onto a Netra T1. I'm using OpenSolaris 2008.11 in Virtualbox on an x86 system running Ubuntu 8.10.
OpenSolaris can communicate with the rest of my network, so that shouldn't be a problem (I hope). The Netra was purchased off eBay, and does not have a cdrom. I've consoled into it using cutecom, and can use the lom and get to the ok prompt. I've run the setup_install_server off of the Solaris Sparc cd to /solaris/jumpstart. Is there a complete step by step walk-through for using OpenSolaris as a jumpstart server? Or if anyone has had experience doing this? Thanks, ted -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
