I went back and ran a iniial_install of snv_b107 and the GUI installer failed
to work, where up untill snv_b106 it had worked ok, I had to boot the dvd in
sigle user mode and run set the TERM=ansi ; export TERM and then run ttinstall
and the same thing happened even after I reboot, I had to boot grub with a -s
option and run kdmconfig -u and the same thing happened. but the gui worked
using snv_b106 booting from the dvd. here are both Xorg.0.log files from
snv_b107 that does not work and the snv_b106 that does.
