I tried booting with the '-kv' options, but the kernel debugger didn't seem to load. I'm assuming the '-r' flag means to do a reconfigure boot...wish I had thought of that earlier. I will give this a shot tonight when I'm home. I do plan to file a bug report whether or not the '-r' flag fixes the problem.
