Hi, I have 2 questions. (1) In Solaris 10, there was the /etc/hostname.pcn0 file in which I configured a hostname.
But, there isn't the file in OpenSolaris. Don't I have to configure a hostname in the file anymore?? (2) In OpenSolaris, there is the /etc/lwam/llp file. When I configured like the following, # cat /etc/nwam/llp pcn0 static 192.168.0.101/24 the host IP address is always fixed as 101. But, when I deleted the file, the host IP address is configured randomly. sometimes 102, sometimes 201, etc. even though the host is configured as static IP address. There wasn't the file in Solaris 10. And, even though there wasn't the file in Solaris 10, the static IP address configuration was working well. Why did the file add in OpenSolaris?? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
