OK, well it's been less than breezy for me m8 - 4 or 5 days and still nothing.
I have a question on the version or perl you are using and the version of MySQL. Are you building from source or are you using the pkg install route. If so what are all the modules? If you use the CPAN version of force install DBD::mysql it tries to install 4.0.x whereas is you run slimserves own build file it tries to build version 3.0.x. Which is correct? I'm starting to think the the CPAN part of the wiki is the problem as it installs different versions to that of slimserver itself. Finally can you please confirm that your "breezey" install works on a 64-bit system? I'm trying to install of a 64-bit Xeon and I think the main issues are in DBD::mysql with mixed 32-bit and 64-bit code. Thanks for your help - I'll get there eventually.
