Do you have an sdcard inserted maybe ? There are some issues with sdcard readers on some laptops that cause panics (fixed in b108 I think). It doesn't seem to be related to the b106 nwam bug, as that one doesn't panic/hang the system, just stops other services from running, which you can fix by disabling graphical boot and then login and "pfexec /usr/sbin/svcadm clear nwam" -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
