When I try to boot from cd/dvd, kernel crashes. I tried multiple versions starting SNV_90 to SNV_96, both i86 and amd64 architectures - all crashed consistently. Hardware has passed torture tests under Linux and WinXP, I assume it is not HW-related issue. Also Solaris 10 (5/08) was happy on this platform.
I filed 6722843 [ http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6722843 ] for this. Debug trace is attached. In [ http://opensolaris.org/jive/message.jspa?messageID=222069#222467 ] the last message on thread (from Andrew Hettinger) describes difficulties with booting i5000P-chipset based system past SNV_68.
