I have tried to install the Sun Studio12 package on the OpenSolaris OS. I had downloaded the following package :-
SunStudio12ml-solaris-x86-200709-pkg.tar.bz2 and followed the instructions for the installations in the following order :- 1. batch_installer 2. GUI installer 3. CLI installer However it failed at all times with the following message :- /var/sadm/install/logs/Sun_Studio_12_software_install.B09040902 does not exist.
