Hello, I installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 on a DELL Precision T7400. This version works fine (except sound). Over the weekend I tried to update to snv_96 and followed the instructions under
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/rn3/image-update/ The updated system does not boot, the machine simply reboots over and over again (the snv_86 version still works). I found something about Bug 6727562 and tried to append "-B disable-acpi_drv=true" to the grub boot entry without success. How can I find out what is going wrong? Thank you. Greetings, Willi
