Are you sure the computer is working? In particular are you sure the hard drive cable is healthy, disk connection is seated well, and that the Hard Disk Drive and the Hard Disk controller are fully functional? Actually, on second thought, this is possibly a complaint about the CD-Rom drive, its connection, or its controller - you were not clear about how far you get with this. so I assume the above error is all you get? No GUI or questions about language/keyboard, etc? Do you have another computer one which you can try the disk? Did you get a good download (were you able to confirm the image checksum before you burned it to disk?) Do you have another hard drive and/or CD-Rom / DVD drive to test in this computer? Any more details you can provide about this problem will help us help you!
