Hello all, i just installed opensolaris 2008.11 snapshot on my desktop PC. Unfortunately, it only loads Xorg with vesa driver and is limited to 1600x1200. My screen is native 1920x1200 and i have an ati radeon 4870 card from club3d. I read that the radeonhd driver ships with osol but was unable to load it in xorg.conf and unable to find it in neither sfw nor blastwave nor osol repositories. The tarball from the developers site doesn't build:
checking for XORG... configure: error: Package requirements (xorg-server xproto fontsproto ) were not met: No package 'xorg-server' found No package 'xproto' found No package 'fontsproto' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix.
