I have a SuperMicro A+ Server 1011M-T2. This server uses a H8SMi-2 MB with a dual-core Opteron and 2GB of memory. I have no problem installing Solaris 96B on it. However, the system will hang and then crashes after displaying of the login prompt. This happens on multiple servers of the same model so it is not server specific.
Any one know whether there is a work-around? Also, anyone knows what SuperMicro MB is compatible with Solaris 11? Thanks, Starry Chan -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
