To prevent X from loading, disable the "cde-login" service: svcadm disable cde-login
(The full FMRI is svc:/application/graphical-login/cde-login:default). Depending on the speed of your system, you should have a few seconds after Solaris says "Starting desktop login on display :0" to press enter and login to the console. From there you can disable the service. Not sure why the install-launcher service is trying to run - has Solaris been fully installed in text mode, then the system rebooted from the disk, rather than booting from the DVD again?
