Today I installed the just released OpenSolaris version. Why is the disk drive more active than in Solaris 10 or SXDE? When I check the 'system monitor' I see there is a Zombie process active with '-20' priority. I don't see this one with 'prstat'. The first time I initiated 'init 6' after the very first boot, the system could not unmount certain drives (they were listed as 'busy') like /export/home.
Especially the higher disk activity is very annoying, it reminds too much to Windows. This message posted from opensolaris.org
