You've hit a known bug with Intel graphics on machines with >3gb RAM - there's
a workaround documented in the release notes:

http://opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/rn3/

(The release note was written before we narrowed it down to the RAM size -
another workaround is to remove RAM.)
