The only filesystems that Solaris recognises out of the box are Solaris UFS partitions, and FAT partitions. Also, it cannot read logical partitions (also called secondary partitions) out of the box, so if you have FAT partitions in a logical partition you would need to either use a 3rd-party tool, or convert them to a primary partition before Solaris would be able to see them.
