Hi! noob here with 2 post opensolaris 2008.05 install questions. 1) how do I set a sensible keyboard layout When I press DEL or HOME or END, I get some pretty strange results. I'd like these keys to do what they actually say.
2) I've attempted to set a static IP without much luck. I've found several conflicting posts on how to do this and tried several permutations of /etc/defaultrouter /etc/hosts /etc/a bunch of other files. Solaris still seems like the masochist's OS. Can anybody convince me otherwise? (I really want to like it) This message posted from opensolaris.org
