hi

i was able to fix my unqualified hostname problem
and constant internet connection drops

But now i have another problem

i read many problems related to these

1) ***failed to configure ipv4 interface open solaris***

2) ***No randomness provider***

And still do not understand what im doing wrong

i have an internet connection ping google works and is alive

i dont know much about nsswitch files at all
but here are my other files

cat /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1 localhost loghost
#::1    localhost
192.168.15.104 lucid-dreams.triax.rr.com
lucid-dreams

i still have my /etc/dhcp.rtls0 and /etc/hostname.rtls0

Even without the dhcp file i still get the same error messae

i try to change address by doing this

ifconfig (xzrt0-example-interface) 192.168.15.101 down
ifconfig (xzrt0-example-interface) 192.168.15.104 netmasks 255.255.255.0 up

My hostname file is empty
My netmasks i am unable to edit

i am not sure but there may be an error there

cat /etc/netmasks

# Both the network-number and the netmasks are specified in
# "decimal dot" notation, e.g:
#
# 128.32.0.0 255.255.255.0
#
192.168.15.0 255.255.255.0
xxx at lucid-dreams:~#

i Think perhaps 192.168.15.0 should be 192.168.15.1 for my modem

Also i get another error on boot up no randomness provider

Can anyone help me solve Both Problems

No randomness provider
Failed to configure ipv4 interface open solaris

i had done the sys-unconfig and for somre reason Open Solaris just
can not detect my domain name or name servers even when i enter the proper
information.
so i try to do things manually.

Thank You so much
